Matariki Celebration 5pm-7:30pm Tuesday 28 June
Schools in the Stoke Tāhunanui Kāhui Ako are hosting a community Matariki Celebration from 5pm – 7:30pm on Tuesday 28 June at Nayland College. Live performances, food trucks, market stalls, art displays, star hunt and more!

Students get some RAD training!
This week two trainers from RAD spent some time working with Nayland College students, getting them up to speed on how to recycle a device, all with the aim of improving digital equity for our learners. Year 11 student Saskia Nyhoff tells us all about it.
Where there’s a Will, there’s a way
Stella Bloomfield, Ysabella Abel and Will Irvine, proved that living in the regions is no barrier to national success by placing third in the recent New Zealand Secondary Schools Debating Competition. On top of that, Will has been selected to represent NZ at the Worlds in August!

Year 9 IOS – spaces available from Term 2
We are pleased to announce that there is an opportunity for Year 9 students to be considered to join the current Year 9 IOS (Institute of Sport) class in Term 2.
