A massive congratulations to both Mikaela McDonald (Y10) and Emily Olthof (Y9) who both won medals at the Oceania Speedskating Championships!
Mikaela McDonald: 1 Gold and 5 Silver medals.
Mikaela’s results in the Junior Ladies U19 division were:
- 4th 200m Time Trial
- 2nd 1000m race
- 2nd 10,000m Elimination race
- 2nd 500m race
- 2nd 10,000m Points/Elimination race
- 1st Team Relay
- 2nd 42km Marathon
Emily Olthof: 1 Gold and 1 Bronze
Emily won Bronze in the individual time trial and Gold in the relays.
Well done to both girls for their outstanding results!
