Ngā Manu Kōrero 2022

On Friday 10 June several kura, their supporting whānau and friends gathered at Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre for the 2022 annual Ngā Manu Kōrero competition.

2022 Readers Cup Competition

It was a celebration of good books, story, and the art of reading. The annual Top of the South/Te Tau Ihu o Te Waka-a-Māui Readers Cup competition took place on the 28th June at Nelson College for Girls.

Students get some RAD training!

This week two trainers from RAD spent some time working with Nayland College students, getting them up to speed on how to recycle a device, all with the aim of improving digital equity for our learners. Year 11 student Saskia Nyhoff tells us all about it.

Where there’s a Will, there’s a way

Stella Bloomfield, Ysabella Abel and Will Irvine, proved that living in the regions is no barrier to national success by placing third in the recent New Zealand Secondary Schools Debating Competition. On top of that, Will has been selected to represent NZ at the Worlds in August!
