At the end of every year, when our domestic students are completing NCEA examinations, our internationals students enter into an end of year programme of activities.
This special programme includes a wide range of activities designed to provide fun, adventure, and community involvement. Students take part in volunteer work, including beach cleanups and assisting the Year 9 Launch class with setting up a food drive for the Salvation Army. They also have the opportunity to participate in thrilling outdoor experiences such as sailing, caving, and hiking in the Nelson Lakes National Park.
Other highlights include an amazing race around town, cooking classes where students learn to make burgers with our hospitality teachers, and visits to Kaiteriteri.
The programme concludes with “The Last Supper,” a memorable celebration that honours the time our international students have spent with us, marking the end of a truly unforgettable experience.
