Congratulations to our Junior A Girls who are the South Island Junior Volleyball champions!
On day one the A Girls won 2-0 against Otago Girls, Villa Maria and Marlborough Girls, putting them in the Top 8 playoffs. On day two the A Girls had an amazing day winning 2-0 Cashmere, 2-1 Waimea and 2-1 Queens. They were then into the top four in the Division 1 South Island semi-final.
Then, not only did they dominate and claim the South Island Junior Volleyball Title, but players Sadie Harwood, Harriet Downs and Emilia Ainley were named in the tournament team. And, to top off, Emilia was named MVP for the tournament. Congratulations everyone!
