With the announcement this afternoon that lockdown will continue, we have made plans to distribute laptops to families that require assistance.
Dear parents/caregivers
Following on from the announcement from the Prime Minister this afternoon that New Zealand will stay at alert level 4, we will be distributing laptops to students that require them tomorrow.
Devices are available for collection from the library at the following times on Tuesday 24 August:
10:30am-12:00pm – Year 11-13 students
1:00-2:30pm – Year 9 and 9 students
Devices will be issued to students in the same way as a library book, with students required to sign a safe-use agreement. To ensure there are enough laptops to support as many students as possible we ask that, if possible, families stick to a limit of one device per household.
When entering the school site Covid Level 4 essential service restrictions apply. This means you will need keep 2 metres apart from people outside your household and we will be limiting numbers inside the library. You must also scan in with the Covid tracer app and wear a face covering.
If you require access to books, portfolios, musical instruments etc. please contact your teacher directly who may be able to arrange a contactless pickup or drop off.
We look forward to helping as many students as possible to acess learning during these difficult times.
Ngā mihi,
Daniel Wilson
Principal
