30 Oct Welcoming Year 9 2015 to Nayland
Preparations are well underway for the 2015 intake with enrolled students already having had two letters with information about preparing for entering Year 9. Three key events are about to take place that set up our students for the best possible start to college life.
1) Nayland is welcoming ? year 8 students who are joining us in 2015 to spend the day with us on Friday 7th November. Further information is included below.
2) ? Each year 8 student and their parents meet with ? either one of the Year 9 Deans or a senior member of staff during the week of the 10-14 November between 3.30 and 8pm.? Please telephone us? to make a booking on 5479769.
3) Our Year 9 deans meet with the current year 8 teacher of each student during the week of 10-14 November.?
Year 8 Entrance Day
This day is an introduction to Nayland and is part of the way that we get to know our students. ? Students should bring a packed lunch, drink, and a pen.
Students who are currently attending Broadgreen Intermediate or Nelson Intermediate begin their day at their usual school in the usual way and will come? to Nayland as a group. They will be at Nayland College from 8.50 until 2.30. They will then return to their own school. ? Your school has been sent the information about this.
