The Nayland House system was launched in 2012 and offers students the opportunity to learn authentic leadership. Each year a group of elected students work together to compete to win the House Trophy.
Yet, our house system is more than that. It reflects Naylands’ commitment to democracy and equality and adds a deeper sense of belonging to our school. Each year the students plan and run the events and house assemblies.
Whole school events in the House Year are: House Day, Winter Festival, Nayland Has Talent and the House Dinner.
The Houses are named after constellations from the Southern Sky: Aquila, Draco, Phoenix and Pegasus.
