01 Dec The last day for international students at Nayland College for 2017

The last day for international students for 2017 took them on a tour from the top of the Takaka Hill and followed the water to the sea.

Students were treated to a range of wonderful experience on their last official day at school for 2017.  The day started with a bus trip to the Ngarua Caves on the top of the Takaka Hill and tour through the cave system. Then those brave enough took the plunge into the crystal clear but cold waters of Te Puna o Riuwaka the source of the Riuwaka river and the point where the water leaves the cave system. The final leg of the journey followed the river to Kaiterteri Beach and a few hours soaking up the sun on the golden sands. For many of the students this was their last experience of the Nelson region as they prepare to travel back home. Thank you for sharing some of your life’s journey with us at Nayland College.
