At Nayland College students are offered guidance in planning their education pathways. Knowing what qualifications are available and what is needed to get there is the key. Students have opportunities to gather information, discuss their options and make plans. Form teachers, subject teachers, head of departments and the careers staff are involved in this important process.
There are so many career options available. Choices can be difficult to make and often change. Students may have a specific area of interest or be undecided and want to keep their options open. Planning a pathway from year 9 to year 13 and beyond is better than planning one year at a time, and will help students gain the most from their time at Nayland College.
At subject selection time students and parents are invited to open evenings and extra career interviews are scheduled.
